Jakarta - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said the establishment of PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI) can positively impact the domestic capital market ecosystem, benefiting investors.

He explained in Jakarta on Sunday that implementing one-stop export through DSI would instil discipline in export reporting among businesses, as all exporters are required to report their activities to DSI via the Finance Ministry’s Customs Excise Information System and Automation (CEISA) 4.0 platform.

The reporting aims to curb under-invoicing, transfer pricing, and foreign currency outflows from exports. Transparency in company revenue will also enhance transparency in profitability and earnings.

“For companies, profitability can rise significantly. This is actually positive news for the (capital) market,” Purbaya said.

Strengthened profitability is expected to improve corporate financial performance and increase cash dividends, given many export companies are publicly listed companies.

“The investors will benefit,” he stressed.

DSI’s assignment as a special export state-owned enterprise will proceed in two phases.

The first phase runs from 1 June to 31 December 2026, where DSI will oversee reporting for coal, palm oil, and ferroalloy exports. Its role will expand as needed by the government and the agency’s readiness.

The second phase begins 1 January 2027, with DSI acting as a trader, purchasing directly from exporters and selling internationally, with all proceeds repatriated to Indonesia.
