Jakarta (ANTARA) - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa introduced the Task Force for Accelerating Government Strategic Programmes (Satgas P2SP), which is tasked with facilitating the removal of business obstacles or debottlenecking, to global investors. The debottlenecking task force has been operating to address business hurdles for domestic companies since December 2025. However, Purbaya stated that global investors are receiving information about the existence of this complaint channel. “One of them from Switzerland asked where to complain if needed. Even though we thought we were already well-known, apparently not. So, I told them that we would provide information on which website they can submit their complaints,” Purbaya said to reporters after the International Seminar on Debottlenecking Channel at the Ministry of Finance office in Jakarta on Tuesday. Purbaya conveyed to investors that the Satgas P2SP effectively addresses business challenges because this task force involves stakeholders from various ministries and agencies (K/L). In addition, he assured that K/L will act quickly, given that the state treasury institution can impose budget cut sanctions if they do not work efficiently. The same applies to regional governments involved as stakeholders in business actors’ issues. “They might not yet know what this task force is like, how it works, and its results. I am confident that in the future, once they experience the benefits of this task force, they will promote that investing in Indonesia will be easier than before,” the Finance Minister stated. To ensure the Satgas P2SP is widely known among global investors, the Ministry of Finance is collaborating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Purbaya hopes that synergy with the Foreign Ministry can encourage more investors from around the world to enter Indonesia. “Cooperation with the Foreign Ministry is very important to disseminate this to our embassies around the world, so that investors who want to enter here know where to go if they encounter obstacles when doing business here,” Purbaya said.
