Final Victim of Bantargebang Landfill Landslide Discovered, Search Operation Concluded
BEKASI – A combined search and rescue team discovered one additional victim from the waste landfill collapse at TPST Bantargebang, Bekasi City, on Monday, 9 March 2026 at approximately 23:30 Western Indonesian Time.
The Head of Jakarta’s Search and Rescue Office, Desiana Kartika Bahari, stated that the victim was found deceased and was immediately evacuated to Kramat Jati Polri Hospital.
“One victim identified as Riki Supiadi, a 40-year-old male, was found deceased and evacuated to Kramat Jati Polri Hospital,” Desiana stated on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
“With the discovery of all victims and no reports of remaining missing persons, the search and rescue operation is declared closed,” she said.
A total of 13 people were affected by the landslide incident. Of this number, six people survived whilst seven others perished.
Victim data was compiled based on field reports from personnel, witness statements, and information provided by victims’ families.
The six survivors rescued were named Budiman, Johan, Safifudin, Slamet, Ato, and Dofir.

Sumini (60), stall owner
Dedi Sutrisno (Karawang), truck driver
Irwan Supriatin, truck driver
Jussova Situmorang (38)
