Final Hajj group from Jakarta-Bekasi embarkation departs for Mecca

The final batch of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims from the Jakarta-Bekasi embarkation completed the reporting process at the Makkah Route in the Hajj and Umrah Special Terminal 2F at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten, on Thursday, 21 May 2025. A total of 280 pilgrims from cohort 28, the last group from Jakarta-Bekasi, were immediately dispatched to Mecca ahead of the closure of entry to the holy city for pilgrims. Saudi Arabian immigration officers welcomed the arrival of the final Indonesian Hajj batch at the Makkah Route terminal in the Hajj and Umrah Special Terminal 2F at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. The final batch were seen in the waiting area of Terminal 2F as they prepared to depart.
