Jeddah — The final batch of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims has arrived in Saudi Arabia via King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah, on Friday, 22 May 2026. The final batch comprises pilgrims from embarkation Surabaya (SUB) 116, numbering 379 people.

“All our pilgrims have landed in Saudi Arabia,” said Abdul Basir, Head of the Airport’s Working Area (Kadaker), on Friday 22 May 2026.

For the 2026 Hajj operation, the arrival waves were divided into two cohorts. The first wave consisted of 103,732 pilgrims, forming 267 embarkation groups.

The first wave landed at Madinah Airport from 22 April 2026 to 6 May 2026.

Subsequently, the second wave arrived via King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah.

The completion of the pilgrims’ arrivals, totalling 527 embarkation groups, marks the peak of the Hajj season.

After the Hajj rites, the return of pilgrims from the first wave from Jeddah will commence from 1-15 June 2026, while the return of pilgrims from the second wave from Madinah begins from 16-30 June 2026.
