Filing Police Reports Now Possible via Mobile App, with Virtual Consultation Feature
Polri has launched the Police Report (LP) and Lost Item Report service in the Super App Polri. The public can now create LPs and lost item certificates online. Polri has also introduced the Engine Consultation for Police Reports, an integrated system allowing the public to consult online and in real-time. Consultations are conducted via video conference and live chat. “Digitalisation of services does not only focus on utilising technology, but also becomes part of improving the performance management system and a more modern and integrated Polri work culture,” said Deputy Chief of Police Komjen Dedi Prasetyo during the launch of the service at the Ballroom of Hotel Mercure Ancol, North Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/4/2026). He emphasised that public services must be procedural, effective, efficient, and based on information technology. “And supported by modern facilities and infrastructure,” he added. The launch of this digital service was carried out during the Coordination Meeting (Rakor) of the Polri ICT Committee for the 2026 Fiscal Year. Polri’s latest digital service will be implemented gradually, starting from Polda Metro Jaya, Polda West Java, and Polda Banten. The online LP service and online lost item report can be accessed via the Super App Polri, available on the App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android). Komjen Dedi stated that his side also emphasised three main focuses in future policy directions, namely the digitalisation of police services; optimisation of law enforcement through a restorative justice approach; and improvement of clean, transparent, and anti-corruption public services. “Through this innovation, the public no longer needs to come directly to the police station at the initial reporting stage. Simply through gadgets, services can be accessed anytime and anywhere in a practical and efficient manner,” explained Komjen Dedi. It is known that the system in this digital service is designed to be open and accountable. Where each stage is documented digitally, equipped with monitoring features, communication history, and performance evaluation.
