Figure of Teddy Indra Wijaya Praised by Senior and Strengthens Government Coordination
Deputy Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya has received positive assessment from former Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Abdullah Mahmud Hendropriyono, as a young officer figure with promising leadership qualities. In his view, Teddy not only possesses competent professional abilities but is also supported by strong moral integrity and ethics.
Hendropriyono, yesterday, expressed his impressions after meeting directly during the Eid al-Fitr moment. He assessed that Teddy demonstrated a courteous attitude and genuine respect for seniors, reflecting character values instilled from an early age.
According to him, one of Teddy’s strengths lies in his humility. Despite having good intellectual capacity, Teddy is seen as remaining open to learning from others’ experiences. He is even known to gather more information through questions, as a form of active and reflective learning approach.
“Such character is important in forming mature leadership, because intelligence alone is not enough without humility,” he stated.
He also views Teddy as a young figure with a complete combination of qualities ranging from discipline, work enthusiasm, communication skills, to readiness to face pressure. These traits are deemed relevant in addressing the complexities of modern government governance.
In his capacity as a close aide to President Prabowo Subianto, Teddy is in a strategic position to directly understand high-level government dynamics. This experience is believed to be important capital in shaping future adaptive and integrity-based leadership.
On the other hand, in the post-Lebaran agenda series, Teddy also conducted a visit with Gibran Rakabuming Raka at the Vice Presidential Palace, Jakarta. The meeting, which took place in early April, not only served to strengthen relations but was also utilised to discuss recent national developments.
In the warm atmosphere of the Syawal month, the two discussed various strategic issues and challenges faced by the government. This meeting reflects the importance of communication and synergy among high state officials in maintaining stability and accelerating development.
The quite intensive visit also became a forum for aligning views on future policies. This demonstrates a joint commitment to ensure effective coordination amid national dynamics.
Previously, Teddy accompanied President Prabowo in several agendas, including visits to disaster-affected areas in Aceh and a series of overseas trips. Meanwhile, the Vice President also carried out various social and state activities, including visits to several pesantren in Central Java.
