Jakarta, TopBusiness – PT Federal International Finance (FIFGROUP), an Astra subsidiary operating in the financing sector, has appointed 37 top Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) teachers from across Indonesia as MENYALA Ambassadors during the Teacher Summit 2026 held at Menara FIF, South Jakarta.

This event marks the pinnacle of FIFGROUP’s appreciation for inspirational educators assessed as successful in promoting financial literacy among the younger generation through the FIFGROUP Menyuarakan Literasi Melalui Aksi (MENYALA) programme throughout 2025.

The Teacher Summit 2026 forms part of FIFGROUP’s commitment to supporting the enhancement of vocational education quality in Indonesia. The MENYALA programme is a component of the FIFGROUP Pintar Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pillar, focusing on boosting financial literacy and strengthening synergies between education and industry.

FIFGROUP Director, Esther Sri Harjati, stated that “Through the Teacher Summit 2026, we aim to express appreciation to the teachers who have been FIFGROUP’s partners in enhancing financial literacy for the younger generation. We hope this spirit continues to grow and brings broader benefits.”

Throughout 2025, the programme reached 296 SMKs across Indonesia, involving 5,405 teachers, and benefiting 31,746 students through Social Teaching Hour activities with high satisfaction levels, including Teacher Training at 3.88 out of 4.00, Social Teaching Hour at 3.87 out of 4.00, and Teacher Financial Literacy Index at 3.46 out of 4.00.

Selection as a top teacher for the Teacher Summit 2026 involved a tiered process. From 5,405 teachers who attended training, 296 top teachers were chosen to conduct Social Teaching Hours in their respective schools. Ultimately, 37 top teachers were selected based on evaluations encompassing competence, teaching impact, programme innovation, and tangible contributions to improving student financial literacy.

The Teacher Summit 2026 took place from 26-29 April 2026 with key activities including:

  • Appointment of MENYALA Ambassadors by the FIFGROUP Director at Menara FIF;

  • Visit to Menara FIF to directly understand the FIFGROUP business ecosystem.

  • Team building at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah to strengthen collaboration among teachers from various regions.

  • Discussions with 5 Lines of Business (LoB) and FIFGROUP Human Capital as direct input from the industry.

FIFGROUP emphasises that investing in teacher quality is a long-term investment for the nation’s future. Moving forward, the MENYALA Programme will continue to be developed as FIFGROUP’s sustainable contribution to creating superior, inclusive, and era-relevant vocational education.
