FIF to offer Rp 1t in bonds in January
JAKARTA: Indonesia's PT Federal International Finance, or FIF, said on Wednesday it will offer in early January Rp 1 trillion (US$110 million) worth of bonds with maturities ranging from one to three years.
The motorbike financing unit of Indonesian automotive company, PT Astra International, said in a preliminary prospectus it will use the bond proceeds for loans it will offer to buyers of Honda motorbikes.
Astra makes Honda motorbikes in Indonesia with Japan's Honda Motor Co. The company hasn't decided on the coupon for the bonds, which will be issued at par.
FIF reported net profit of Rp 159.09 billion in the first half of the year, after recording net profit of Rp 211.61 billion for the whole of 2003. -- Dow Jones
