FFI Releases Preliminary List of 25 Players for the Indonesian Futsal National Team for the 2026 ASEAN Championship

KOMPAS.com - The Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) has officially announced a preliminary list of 25 players to strengthen the Indonesian Futsal National Team.

This call-up is the initial step in a series of preparations for the 2026 ASEAN Championship, scheduled to take place in Nonthaburi, Thailand, from April 5th to 12th.

The selection of these 25 players forms the initial foundation for the Garuda squad before entering the training camp phase.

Through this process, the coaching team will monitor the players’ condition to determine the final composition that will be sent to compete in the regional arena.

The FFI explained that all the players on this list are the result of an intensive selection and monitoring process during the domestic competition.

This also reinforces the position of the Pro Futsal League as a breeding ground for national futsal athletes.

With the increasing quality of competition in the league, the PFL has become a major supplier of talented players who are ready to compete at the international level.

It is important to note that this list of 25 players is preliminary.

The FFI confirmed that the next step is the announcement of a shorter list of players who will be specifically called up for intensive training.

Therefore, the players who have been included in the preliminary list are asked to maintain their performance and physical condition in the remaining league matches.

Technically, this preliminary list consists of three goalkeepers, four players in the anchor and flank-anchor positions, 10 players in the flank position, five pivot and flank-pivot players, and three players with all-around abilities.

Goalkeepers: Muhammad Albagir (Black Steel FC Papua), Angga Ariansyah (Unggul FC), Mohammad Rizki Afsana Putra (Cosmo JNE).

Anchor & Flank-Anchor: Piter Eveardus Masriat (Black Steel FC Papua), Fadal Bachtiar (Kuda Laut Nusantara FC), Dewa Rizki Amanda (Cosmo JNE), Singgih Romana Jati (Bintang Timur Surabaya).

Flank: Andarias Kareth (Fafage Banua FC), Muhammad Imam Anshori Rahman (Pangsuma FC), Guntur Sulistyo Ari Wibowo (Bintang Timur Surabaya), Yogi Saputra (Pangsuma FC), Mohammad Rizky Fauzan (Fafage Banua FC), Rahmad Zar’in Muttaqin (Asahan FC), Adityas Priambudi Wibowo (Black Steel FC Papua), Reivan Revian (Cosmo JNE), Ardiansyah (Bintang Timur Surabaya FC), Silfredo Alfred Reko (Moncongbulo FC).
