Festival to hold comic-making class

JAKARTA: The Indonesian Comics Society will hold a comic- making workshop on Saturday at the Comics Festival at Mal Ciputra in Grogol, West Jakarta.

The Comics Festival will run from Aug. 28 to Sept. 12.

During the three-day workshop, experienced comic-strip artists will guide participants in making a finished strip of their own from scratch.

Scriptwriters grouped under the Pustaka Bobo will hold on Sunday a script-writing workshop on how to construct an interesting plot for comics.
