Ferdy Sambo Spotted Undergoing Health Check at Cibinong Prison: What Were the Results?
The former Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Ferdy Sambo, underwent a health examination at the Class IIA Cibinong Prison, Bogor Regency. Among the various parameters tested, his blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid levels were recorded as being within normal limits.
However, one examination result drew significant attention, as his blood pressure reached 180 mmHg.
According to reports from VIVA Bogor, the examination was conducted by the medical officer of the Class IIA Cibinong Prison, Dr Yenny Chandrawaty.
Based on the results, Ferdy Sambo’s random blood sugar was 154 mg/dL. The medical officer explained that this figure was related to his condition at the time of the test, as he was known to have consumed coffee and food prior to the examination.
Meanwhile, his total cholesterol level was recorded at 177 mg/dL, which remains within the normal range for men. His uric acid level also showed 5.4 mg/dL, which is below the upper limit for men, typically around 7 mg/dL.
“Blood sugar, uric acid, and cholesterol are still okay, still good,” explained Dr Yenny when presenting Sambo’s results on Friday (2/10/2026).
Despite most results being deemed positive, attention turned to Ferdy Sambo’s blood pressure. The measurement showed a blood pressure of 180 mmHg, which falls into the high category.
Medical staff suspect that several factors, such as fatigue, lack of rest, stress, or insufficient sleep, may have contributed to the high blood pressure.
During the examination, Ferdy Sambo was asked about his physical condition following the tests. “Healthy, healthy. Still fit,” Sambo stated briefly.
The medical officer then reiterated the overall findings, noting that the random blood sugar of 154 mg/dL could still be influenced by food and coffee consumption before the test. For cholesterol, the 17m7 mg/dL result is considered safe, while uric acid at 5.4 mg/dL remains within the normal range.
“Everything is still good, Sir. Only the blood pressure is high,” the medical officer said.
Consequently, from the examination, three of the parameters tested—blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid—were declared to be in good condition, while blood pressure remains a matter requiring further attention due to the 180 mmHg reading.
