Female prison inmates in Palu produce biscuits for Eid celebrations

Armed with skills provided by correctional facility staff, a number of inmates at Palu Women’s Correctional Institution (Lapuan) have begun receiving orders for the production of biscuits to mark the 2026 Eid celebrations. Orders have come from correctional facility officers as well as family members of the inmates. The varieties of biscuits being sold include nastar, peanut biscuits and chocolate biscuits. This activity simultaneously serves as a form of skills training and self-reliance development for the inmates.
