Female Police Officer Faces Dismissal for Stealing Customer's Money at Salon in Rote Ndao, NTT
A member of the Evidence and Detention Unit (Sattahti) of Rote Ndao Police, Brigadier Yulita Manuai, faces dismissal for allegedly stealing 1.103 million Indonesian Rupiah from a beauty salon customer, Sabrina Ana Flora. The theft reportedly occurred on Jalan Ba’a-Busalangga, Mokdale Village, Lobalain District, Rote Ndao, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Friday, 6 March 2026.
The Head of the Professional Standards and Security Section (Kasi Propam) of Rote Ndao Police, First Inspector I Gede Putu Parwata, stated that a case review hearing regarding Brigadier Yulita was conducted on Monday, 9 March 2026.
“The results of the case review agreed that her actions violated Article 13 Section (1) of Government Regulation Number 1 of 2003 concerning the Termination of Police Members, in conjunction with Article 8 letter (C) number (1) of Police Regulation Number 7 of 2022 on Professional Code of Conduct and the Police Code of Conduct Commission,” Parwata told detikBali.
According to Parwata, the case review hearing was a follow-up to the interrogation report conducted by the Internal Affairs Unit of Rote Ndao Police regarding the violations committed by Brigadier Yulita. “This step is a follow-up to a public complaint submitted through the Propam Precision Complaint QR Code,” Parwata explained.
Currently, Parwata stated that the Professional Standards Unit of Rote Ndao Police is completing the case file so that the code of conduct hearing can be held promptly. The alleged violation has attracted significant public attention.
“The Professional Standards Unit of Rote Ndao Police remains committed to protecting the image of the Indonesian National Police through transparent handling. We are maximising the available time to ensure the disciplinary hearing is conducted as quickly as possible,” Parwata concluded.
In the previous report, the female police officer, identified as Brigadier YM, was accused of stealing 1.103 million Indonesian Rupiah from a customer at a beauty salon on Jalan Ba’a-Busalangga, Mokdale Village, Lobalain District, Rote Ndao, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Friday, 6 March 2026. The salon customer who lost the money is named Sabrina Ana Flora.
“The officer in question is assigned to the Evidence and Detention Unit of Rote Ndao Police. We have already called for a clarification meeting with the victim,” said Rote Ndao Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mardiono to detikBali on Sunday, 8 March 2026.
