Female motorcyclist crashes into road barrier in Bogor, hospitalised

Single-vehicle motorcycle crash occurred on Jalan Gor Pakansari, Cibinong District, Bogor, West Java. A female rider was injured after hitting a road barrier.

“As a result of the accident, one victim was injured, the motorcycle rider Ms. X,” said acting Head of Gakkum Satlantas Police Bogor Ipda Ares Rahman, on Saturday (7 March 2026).

The incident happened at approximately 01:50 local time this morning. Ares said the accident began when the rider was travelling from Simpang Kandang Roda toward Pakansari Stadium.

“Upon arriving at the scene while passing, the road curves to the left,” he explained.

Ares said the rider continued straight. As a result, she struck the road barrier located in the middle and fell.

“The victim sustained a head injury and was taken to RSUD Bakti Pajajaran in Cibinong,” he said.

In circulating video, the victim is seen lying on the sidewalk, not moving. Several police officers were seen securing the scene.
