Female bomb suspect arrested

BALIKPAPAN, East Kalimantan: East Kalimantan Police reported on Friday the arrest of a female fugitive charged with bringing explosive materials from Malaysia into Indonesian territory.

East Kalimantan Police chief Insp. Gen. Sitompul, however, did not disclose where and when the woman was apprehended.

The woman referred to only by the initials FT was one of two fugitives being tracked down by police after the arrest of six people accused of having brought explosive materials into East Kalimantan province last week. They were arrested in Tunon Taka seaport, Nunukan, East Kalimantan. -- Antara
