Feisal to attend Xmas in Dili

DILI, East Timor: Armed Forces (ABRI) Chief Gen. Feisal
Tanjung is expected to attend on Dec. 27 a Christmas celebration
here organized by the East Timor administration, members of ABRI
and local people.

"We are making preparations for the celebration and hope he
can attend," Mariano of the provincial administration said
yesterday.

The celebration had previously been planned for Dec. 26 but
was postponed to adjust to Feisal's tight schedule.

Bishop Carlos Filipe Ximenes Belo will officiate at the joint
Christmas celebration. (swe)
