Feisal inducts new cadets

MAGELANG, Central Java: Armed Forces Commander Gen. Feisal
Tanjung has graduated 971 cadets from four military academies in
Magelang.

The cadets were graduated and inducted over the weekend after
they passed through 13 days of the Chandradimuka basic military
training.

Gen. Feisal said that the cadets were specially selected young
people and are expected to study hard and do their training
wholeheartedly.

He also urged the new cadets to think and act creatively to
achieve their best.

The Antara news agency reported that out of the 971 cadets,
348 are from the Army, 195 from the Navy, 130 from the Air Force
and 298 from the Police Force.

During the inauguration ceremony, four cadets were named the
"best graduates". They are Charles Simamora from the Army, Firman
Gunawan from the Navy, Hilman Zaini from the Air Force and Ahmad
David from the Police Force. (mas)
