As I happen to know about the program for provision of food
and economic restoration -- conducted by the research and
development division of the Indonesian Democratic Party (PDI)
Perjuangan and chaired by Mr. Kwik Kian Gie -- I would like to
appeal that it can be realized.

I believe that this faction of the splintered PDI has
qualified professionals with high integrity and dedication, who
are also free from corruption, collusion and nepotism. I also
realize the powerholders are making every effort to marginalize
PDI Perjuangan. I hope the people will in time witness the fall
of this tyrannical regime. Leaving many of the people to starve
and doing virtually very little to improve their lot is indeed
immoral.

Megawati Soekarnoputri should do everything in her capacity to
make the above program a success. We do not want this nation to
become a horde of beggars.

The important thing is that the full support of the people can
be won only if the program executors show credibility and
indisputably good reputations.
