PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) has appointed Febrio Nathan Kacaribu as a Non-Independent Commissioner. This decision was agreed upon at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS). The decision was conveyed through OJK Letter No. SR-291/PB.13/2026 dated 17 April 2026. “OJK has issued a copy of the Decision of the OJK Board of Commissioners Member No. KEPR-48/D.03/2026 dated 17 April 2026, approving the appointment of Mr Febrio Nathan Kacaribu as a Non-Independent Commissioner of the Company,” stated management via a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), quoted on Monday (20/4/2026). In connection with this and in accordance with OJK regulations, the effective date of Febrio Nathan Kacaribu’s appointment as a Non-Independent Commissioner of the Company is 17 April 2026. Febrio is an Indonesian citizen, aged 47 years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia, a Master’s degree in International and Development Economics from the Australian National University, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Kansas. Previously, he served as Head of the Fiscal Policy Agency at the Ministry of Finance (2020-2025) and as Commissioner of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) (2020-2025). Currently, he serves as Commissioner of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (2025-present) and Director General of Economic and Fiscal Strategy at the Ministry of Finance (2025-present). He has no affiliation with members of the Board of Directors, members of the Board of Commissioners, major shareholders, or controlling shareholders.
