Febrie Resigns, Attorney General Appoints Rudi Margono as Acting Jampidsus
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Indonesian Attorney General ST Burhanuddin has appointed Rudi Margono as the Acting Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Plt Jampidsus). The appointment follows the resignation of Febrie Adriansyah from the position of Jampidsus this morning, Saturday (11/7/2026). Head of the Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, stressed that this leadership change will not affect the law enforcement process. “All handling of special crime cases continues to be carried out professionally, independently, and in accordance with statutory regulations,” Anang said, quoted from an Attorney General’s Office press release on Saturday (11/7/2026). The Attorney General appointed Rudi as Acting Jampidsus through Attorney General’s Warrant Number: PRINT-76/A/JA/07/2026. This appointment is a step to ensure the continuity of duties, functions, and authority within the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes until a definitive official is appointed. Rudi Margono currently also serves as the Junior Attorney General for Supervision.
