Febrie Resigns as Jampidsus, Here is the Attorney General's Office Full Statement
The Attorney General’s Office has confirmed that Febrie Adriansyah has resigned from his position as Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus). In an official video statement early on Saturday (11/7), the Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, stated that Attorney General ST Burhanuddin had accepted Febrie Adriansyah’s resignation. The decision to resign was made by Febrie less than 12 hours after he held a press conference addressing law enforcement processes conducted by the National Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps and the Metro Jaya Regional Police regarding several corruption cases that have drawn public attention. The official statement from the Attorney General’s Office regarding Febrie Adriansyah’s resignation is as follows: ‘Today, Saturday (11/7/2026), the Attorney General has accepted the resignation of Mr Febrie Adriansyah from his position as Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes.’ ‘This decision is a form of commitment to maintaining the integrity, objectivity, and neutrality of the law enforcement process in line with the ongoing legal process being conducted by investigators of the Indonesian National Police.’ ‘The Attorney General’s Office respects this decision and ensures that all duties, functions, and case handling within the Jampidsus environment can proceed normally and in accordance with applicable mechanisms.’ ‘The Attorney General’s Office invites all parties to respect the ongoing legal process and to continue to uphold the principle of presumption of innocence.’
