The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has announced that Attorney General ST Burhanuddin has accepted the resignation of Febrie Adriansyah from his position as Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus). The move is considered a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the institution.

This decision is a form of commitment to maintaining the integrity, objectivity, and neutrality of the law enforcement process, in line with an ongoing legal process being conducted by investigators from the Indonesian National Police,” said the Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre (Kapuspenkum), Anang Supriatna, on Saturday (11/7/2026).
According to Anang, the Attorney General’s Office respects the decision and ensures that all duties and functions of case handling within the Adhyaksa Corps continue to run well. “The Attorney General’s Office respects this decision and ensures that all duties, functions, and case handling within the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes remain running normally and in accordance with applicable mechanisms,” he stated.
The Attorney General’s Office also called on all parties to respect the ongoing legal process. “The Attorney General’s Office invites all parties to respect the ongoing legal process and to continue upholding the principle of presumption of innocence,” Anang said.
Previously, Febrie had responded to news of a search conducted by the Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) together with the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Regional Police. He confirmed that the house located in the Sentul area, Bogor, was his private residence. “Regarding the Sentul house, it is indeed the Jampidsus’s private residence and has been for a long time. The ownership process from the beginning can be examined,” Febrie said at the Round Building of the Attorney General’s Office, South Jakarta, on Friday (10/7/2026) afternoon.
Regarding the discovery of cash and 74 kilograms of gold by investigators during the search, Febrie stated he was ready to provide clarification. However, he stressed that detailed explanations would be delivered through the applicable legal mechanisms, not through a press conference forum. “Regarding the money found, I have explained that it has an owner, that there are activities, and there are also people receiving the activities, they can also be asked. But certainly not through a forum like this, rather through a forum that follows proper legal procedures,” Febrie concluded.
