Febrie Adriansyah Questioned Again by Attorney General's Office, This Time Not as a Suspect

The former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah, is scheduled to be questioned by the Attorney General’s Office ‘Team 9’ today, Thursday, 3 September 2026.

This examination has been confirmed by Febrie’s lawyer, Febri Diansyah. He stated that his client is being questioned in the capacity of a witness.

“Yes, it is true, this morning an examination for Mr FA is scheduled as a witness in the money laundering investigation,” he told reporters.

Febri admitted that the summons does not specify which suspect the witness is being called to testify against. However, he emphasised that his client will be cooperative.

“The summons does not yet explain which suspect the witness is for. Mr FA will attend and cooperate with the legal process, accompanied by counsel,” he explained.

It is known that Febrie was officially detained by the Attorney General’s Office on Friday, 24 July 2026. The detention took place at the KPK detention centre, Red and White Building branch.

Febrie was detained for 20 days after the Attorney General’s Office named him a suspect in an alleged money laundering case related to the seizure of 74 kilograms of gold and cash in various foreign currencies worth hundreds of billions of rupiah at his residence in the Sentul area, Bogor Regency.

The investigation is being conducted based on a new investigation order (Sprindik) issued by the Attorney General’s Office on 20 July 2026.

In addition to Febrie, the Attorney General’s Office has also named two other suspects, namely Don Ritto and Nurman Herin.
