Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Febrie Adriansyah, Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General’s Office, has affirmed that he remains in post and has not resigned from his position. He made the statement at a press conference at the Jampidsus Building of the Attorney General’s Office in Jakarta on Friday (10/7/2026).

“As of now, this very morning I received instructions to promptly complete the case files of matters where the detention period is limited, so those instructions have been broken down to prioritise cases that are of public concern so that we can file and bring them to trial immediately,” he said.

According to him, the Attorney General’s Office continues to carry out inquiries, investigations, prosecutions and field duties in executing evidence, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), swiftly.

Among the cases being prioritised for resolution are those relating to the public interest and government priority programmes, such as mining governance, alleged transfer pricing, and the governance of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme.

He said the handling of these cases forms part of the prosecution service’s commitment to eradicating corruption professionally, independently and accountably through the court process.

“These efforts are part of the institution’s commitment to a clean and integrity-driven government, and to creating a deterrent effect on perpetrators of corruption. For that reason, public support and trust are vital sources of energy for us at the round building so that law enforcement can proceed effectively, independently and sustainably,” he said.
