FDI policies

Time to time, we read press reports about the amount of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) approved by the Indonesian authorities. Indonesians could start asking themselves why FDI -- foreign projects -- need to be approved in the first place in a different way compared to the domestic projects?

The most astonishing is to see that the Indonesian government does nothing to improve the economy through a radical change in its FDI policies.

We could all wonder why the government keep having that kind of counterproductive policies on FDI, immigration, etc.

We would like to hear from Indonesian leaders and legislators on that important issue for the future of the country.
