FDC Smile Bus Brings AI-Based Dental Services Closer to Employees
FDC Dental Clinic, in collaboration with PT Agel Langgeng (Kapal Api Group), held a dental health service event titled ‘Dental Care On The Move’. The activity took place at the company’s premises in Medan Satria District, Bekasi City, on Thursday (10/9).
Through the FDC Foundation pillar, this initiative introduced Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based dental examination innovations and the FDC Smile Bus mobile examination fleet. “The presence of the FDC Smile Bus is part of our effort to bring dental health services closer to the community while utilising technology to help people better understand their dental health conditions,” explained the CEO & Founder of FDC, Dr Ita Lestari, MARS, yesterday.
According to Ita, the Smile Bus service is supported by the FDC Tooth Analyzer, an AI-based technology that assists in the initial analysis of dental conditions and provides an overview of the required treatments.
“Technology is not merely about making services more modern, but about how technology can make it easier for the public to access, recognise their dental health conditions, and take early action,” she explained.
EXAMINATION EXPERIENCE
Ita noted that through the FDC Smile Bus and FDC Tooth Analyzer, the clinic aims to provide an examination experience that is easier, more informative, and closer to the community. While technology assists the process, the final decisions and treatment recommendations remain with the medical professionals. During the event held in cooperation with Kapal Api Group, participants were directed to the FDC Smile Bus fleet for further examination and treatment by FDC dentists.
“Inside the bus, which is equipped with dental chairs and modern medical equipment meeting ISO 9001 & ISO 27001 standards, participants can undergo in-depth consultations and dental procedures such as scaling and fillings using provided discount vouchers,” she elaborated.
This initiative received high enthusiasm from the employees and stakeholders of PT Agel Langgeng. One participant shared their impression after receiving dental treatment inside the bus.
“The dentist explained my dental condition very clearly and understandably. During the filling process, the handling was good and the procedure was excellent,” said the participant.
Another participant expressed similar satisfaction regarding the comfort of the scaling service in the FDC Smile Bus. “Scaling in the FDC bus felt pleasant and comfortable. The dentist was informative and friendly, and the scaling process was painless,” they added.
