FDC Foundation Commits to Building An-Nafi Mosque in Sorong
Collaboration with the Cinta Quran Foundation opens up room for synergy in health, education, worship facilities and community empowerment. FDC Dental Clinic has strengthened its commitment to building a social impact ecosystem through its support for Amazing Muharram 15.
The Cinta Quran Foundation’s annual event, held on 12 July 2026, carried the theme ‘Reset Your Life: Mind, Heart, Action’, encouraging the public to translate reflection and values of goodness into concrete action.
CEO and Founder of FDC, drg. Ita Lestari, explained yesterday that business growth must go hand in hand with relevant and sustainable social contribution. She saw a shared spirit between FDC and Amazing Muharram, namely turning values of goodness into real action.
“We are currently building a social impact ecosystem through various activities, both those directly related to our business such as health, as well as supporting fields such as education, the development of the younger generation, and community empowerment,” she explained.
Ita said that, as part of this commitment, FDC, through the FDC Foundation, had announced plans to support the construction of the An-Nafi Mosque in Sorong, Southwest Papua. “We want to continue spreading benefits in Sorong. An-Nafi Mosque means ‘The One Who Bestows Benefits, Goodness and Advantage’. Through the An-Nafi Mosque, FDC hopes to spread benefits, goodness and advantage to others,” she said.
Meanwhile, a Board of Trustees member of the Cinta Quran Foundation, Ustadz Fatih Karim, welcomed the opportunity for synergy with the FDC Foundation. His side requires collaboration with various parties to broaden the benefits of mosque construction as well as programmes for developing Quran memorisers (hafiz and hafizah) in various countries.
“Through sustainable cooperation, we hope more Quranic generations will be born who are knowledgeable, of noble character, and bring benefit to society,” he said.
According to Ustadz Fatih, the Cinta Quran Foundation has long developed initiatives for building and strengthening the function of mosques in Indonesia as well as for Muslim communities abroad. FDC’s support for Amazing Muharram 15 marks a first step towards exploring a broader collaboration in the fields of health, education, worship facilities and community development.
“Through the spirit of ‘Be the Foundation of Every Smile’, the FDC Foundation is committed to ensuring the company’s growth also brings access, hope and benefit to society through health, education, youth leadership development, and community empowerment programmes,” he added.
