FDC Foundation Commits to Building An-Nafi Mosque in Sorong

FDC Dental Clinic is reinforcing its commitment to building a social impact ecosystem through support for Amazing Muharram 15. The Cinta Quran Foundation’s annual event, held on 12 July 2026, carried the theme ‘Reset Your Life: Mind, Heart, Action’, inviting the public to translate reflection and good values into concrete action. CEO and Founder of FDC, drg. Ita Lestari, explained that business growth must go hand in hand with relevant and sustainable social contribution. She sees a shared spirit between FDC and Amazing Muharram, namely turning good values into real action. ‘We are building a social impact ecosystem through various activities, both those directly related to business such as health, as well as supporting fields like education, youth development, and community strengthening,’ she said. Ita stated that as part of this commitment, FDC, through the FDC Foundation, announced a plan to support the construction of the An-Nafi Mosque in Sorong, Southwest Papua. ‘We want to continue spreading benefits in Sorong. An-Nafi means The Giver of Benefit, Goodness, and Profit. Through the An-Nafi Mosque, FDC hopes to spread benefits, goodness, and profit to others,’ she said. Meanwhile, Ustadz Fatih Karim, a trustee of the Cinta Quran Foundation, welcomed the opportunity for synergy with the FDC Foundation. He noted that his organisation requires collaboration with various parties to expand the benefits of mosque construction and programmes for nurturing male and female memorisers of the Quran in various countries. ‘Through sustainable cooperation, we hope to give rise to more Quranic generations who are knowledgeable, have noble character, and provide benefits to society,’ he explained. According to Ustadz Fatih, the Cinta Quran Foundation has been developing initiatives for building and strengthening the function of mosques in Indonesia and for Muslim communities abroad.
