Father: Sergeant Ahmad Allegedly Killed by Senior Following Noodle Purchase Error
Sergeant Ahmad Muzammul Farisa (AMF), an Indonesian Air Force soldier in Magetan, East Java, has allegedly died under unnatural circumstances. The deceased’s father claims his son was assaulted by a senior at the barracks.
According to reports, Toni—who also serves as the Head of Protocol and Communications for the Madiun Regency Regional Secretariat—stated that the alleged assault began when Sergeant Ahmad was asked by a senior to purchase food.
Toni noted that his son was allegedly targeted because the food purchased did not match the senior’s request. Sergeant Ahmad was reportedly asked to buy fried noodles, but instead brought back noodle soup, which provoked the senior’s anger at the barracks.
“From the information I have received, my son was asked to buy food that did not match the senior’s request. He was asked for fried noodles but provided noodle soup,” Toni said, visibly emotional, following the loss of his son on Friday early morning.
The incident of alleged physical abuse, which originated from the food dispute, reportedly occurred on Wednesday night around 11:00 PM WIB. Toni stated that the assault allegedly occurred a second time in the early hours of Thursday around 03:00 AM WIB.
“The information I received is that there were two instances of assault; the first at 11:00 PM and the second later that night at 03:00 AM,” he explained.
According to Toni, the late Sergeant Ahmad is believed to have died as a victim of an assault carried out by his seniors. The assault was allegedly perpetrated by four seniors at the barracks during the early hours of Thursday morning.
“I received the information after he had passed away at 03:00 AM this morning. I was contacted by his friend at 04:00 AM,” he continued.
