Father of Government Communication Chief M Qodari Passes Away

Mourning has befallen the Government Communication Agency (Bakom) of the Republic of Indonesia. Sulaiman Said, the father of Bakom Head M Qodari, has passed away. The sad news was also conveyed by Bakom RI through a post on its social media. The father of M Qodari died today. “Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un, we offer our deepest condolences on the passing of H. Sulaiman Said bin M. Said, the father of the Head of the Government Communication Agency of the Republic of Indonesia, Muhammad Qodari,” wrote the Bakom RI Instagram account, as seen on Tuesday (23/6/2026). Qodari’s father was known to have passed away at the age of 79. The body will be buried tomorrow. “May all his good deeds be accepted by Allah SWT and may the family left behind be granted fortitude,” wrote Bakom RI.
