Father in Central Java Rapes Daughter for 9 Years, More Victims Emerge
A man identified by the initials F (51), a resident of Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java, has raped his biological daughter for nine years. The case only came to light after the victim finally found the courage to tell her family about her ordeal.
According to reports, the victim remained silent due to alleged pressure and threats from her father. On 26 April 2026, the victim disclosed the events to her sibling and mother.
Upon hearing the confession, the family immediately reported the case to the Sukoharjo Police on 3 May 2026, accompanied by legal counsel.
“The victim’s identity is linked to Solo, but she resides in Sukoharjo. The crime scene is in Sukoharjo. The perpetrator is strongly suspected to be her biological father, who has committed these acts for 9 years. The victim spoke up on 26 April, and we accompanied her to file the report with the Sukoharjo Police on 3 May,” said the victim’s legal counsel, I Made Ridho Ramadhan, last Monday (11/5/2026).
The perpetrator’s heinous actions were known to have lasted for a very long time. Acting Deputy Chief of Sukoharjo Police, Commissioner Tiswanti, revealed that the sexual intercourse first occurred in 2017.
“In this case, the victim is the perpetrator’s biological child. At the time of the crime, the victim was in her first year of junior high school, around 2017, aged 12. The intercourse was carried out with elements of coercion or threats of violence, so the victim, out of fear, was forced to comply with the perpetrator’s wishes,” said Tiswanti during a press conference at the Sukoharjo Police Headquarters, Tuesday (30/6/2026).
The rape continued until Sunday (26/4). Over a 9-year period, F brutally forced his own flesh and blood to serve his lust with high frequency, specifically twice a week.
The revelation of this case stemmed from a final incident at their home. Tiswanti disclosed that the event began while the victim was gathered with both parents. When the mother fell asleep, F took advantage of the situation by giving a special signal to the victim.
“The last incident occurred while the victim was with her parents. When her mother fell asleep, the father gave a code to invite the child to his room. The child complied. This was a recurring event carried out by the perpetrator against the victim twice every week,” explained Tislam.
On the other hand, the victim’s legal counsel, I Made Ridho Ramadhan, explained that the perpetrator always used psychological threats to silence the victim. The perpetrator threatened to harm the victim’s mother if his demands were refused, often using sharp weapons.
“The relationship involved coercion, manipulation, and threats of violence against her mother; this was the pretext used from the beginning. The pretext was: ‘If you don’t want to, I will hurt your mother.’ Because the victim loved her mother, she was forced to serve her father’s depraved lust,” said Ridho when met by the media at Solo City Hall, Monday (11/5/2026).
As a result of his barbaric actions, F now faces heavy penalties. The police are charging the perpetrator under Article 473 paragraph 9 of the 2023 Criminal Code (UU No 1/2023), or Article 413 of the 2023 Criminal Code regarding sexual intercourse, with a maximum prison sentence of 10 years.
Additional Victims Emerging
After the rape of his biological daughter surfaced and F was officially detained, shocking new information emerged. The victim’s legal counsel stated that there are other victims besides the perpetrator’s biological child.
“After the case emerged, others who knew about it contacted us, stating they were also victims of F. They have come to the office for consultation, and we have prepared powers of attorney to file reports,” said Ridho when contacted by the media, Tuesday (30/6/2026).
Ridho stated that F was a master at convincing victims to believe he possessed supernatural powers. The victims, most of whom were still young, believed him. To convince his ‘patients,’ F would often perform demonstrations, such as pulling daggers or nails from the victims’ bodies.
“From the information gathered from the two new victims, there is a young woman experiencing psychological issues who went to F. It turns out the therapy method was the same, ultimately leading to sexual violence,” he explained.
“The intercourse was performed more than once, with threats that if they did not comply to be ‘cleansed’ and ‘fenced’—using terms like ‘balanya’ or misfortune—the bad luck would continue to haunt them, so they had to be protected,” he added.
Currently, Ridho is preparing the documentation for the reports. He emphasised that he will soon accompany the two new victims to report the matter to the Sukoharjo Police.
