At the Ookla Speedtest Awards 2026 held at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona, Telkomsel secured five major awards for Indonesia’s cellular network performance based on actual user experience measurements from Q3-Q4 2025.
With the highest Speed Score, Telkomsel was named Indonesia’s Fastest Mobile Network, with median download speeds of 59.21 Mbps and upload speeds of 16.30 Mbps, enabling customers to work, learn, and share content more quickly. The Best Mobile Coverage award validates its widest reach based on over 1.6 billion signal scans, ensuring reliable connectivity from urban centres to remote areas.
In digital entertainment, Telkomsel won Best Mobile Video Experience with a high Video Streaming Score of 99.64% video sessions without buffering and 92.84% full-HD playback, as well as Best Mobile Gaming Experience, thanks to a Game Score that accounts for latency and jitter to real-world game servers, delivering more responsive gameplay. These combined qualities earned Telkomsel the title of Best Mobile Network through the Speedtest Connectivity Score, which reflects overall experience including speed, latency, browsing, and video performance.
