Farmers' and Traders' Train: A New Hope on the Rails of Justice (1)

The government, through the Ministry of Transportation and PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), has introduced a new breakthrough that touches the pulse of the lives of ordinary people through a special train programme for farmers and traders. Utilising the existing rail network, this train is projected to reduce the burden on farmers and traders in the mobilisation process of plantation produce and business goods. The initial stage of operating the farmers’ and traders’ train is focused on the Rangkasbitung Line with a service pattern designed so that the loading and unloading process of agricultural products and traded goods can be carried out safely at several stations.
