Farmer in Sikka Stabs Two Men with Knife, One Killed

A farmer with the initials TK (36) in Sikka, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), stabbed two men, identified by the initials GH and F, with a knife on Friday (10/7/2026) at 1.00 pm Wita. As a result of the stabbing, GH died and F suffered serious injuries.

“GH was seriously injured and was found dead. F is seriously injured and is being treated at TC Hillers Maumere Hospital,” said Sikka Police Head of Public Relations, Ipda Leonardus Tunga, when contacted on Saturday (11/7/2026).

Leonardus revealed that GH and F, along with their friends, initially went to Heopuat Village, Hewokloang District, to look for the person who had hit F at Wairkoja Market, Wairkoja Village, Kewapante District. Upon arriving in Heopuat Village, F asked TK about the assault, which led to a commotion.

“During the commotion, the perpetrator then stabbed two people with a knife, namely F who suffered a stab wound to the left chest and GH to the back,” Leonardus said.

The victims’ family subsequently went to the Kewapante Police Station to report the incident.
