Farizon SV Begins Delivery to Consumers This Month

JAKARTA - Less than two months after entering the Indonesian automotive market, the Farizon Super Van (SV) electric vehicle is already recording positive trends. This electric commercial vehicle, brought to market by PT Arista Auto Elektrindo, is claimed to have received high enthusiasm from entrepreneurs in various regions. Arista Auto Elektrindo Director Christoforus Ronny stated that, although it is a new player in the passenger commercial vehicle category, consumer interest in the Farizon SV is widespread, even extending beyond Java. Ronny confirmed that the distribution process has begun this month. Although he was reluctant to disclose the exact number of Vehicle Order Letters (SPK), the delivery of the first units has already started. “It’s not pleasant to talk about SPK numbers. But this month, we can already (receive units). There are several, a dozen units, we have deliveries,” said Ronny. Regarding specifications, the Farizon SV features large dimensions, with a length of 5,995 mm, width of 1,980 mm, height of 2,500 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,850 mm. Its cabin can accommodate up to 16 passengers and has a unique Super Large Opening design without a B-pillar, facilitating easy entry and exit. In terms of performance, the SV relies on a Permanent Magnet Synchronous motor with front-wheel drive, capable of delivering peak power of 170 kW or equivalent to 229 hp, and maximum torque of 336 Nm. The power sector is supported by a Gotion battery with a capacity of 82.883 kWh and 400 V voltage. With this capacity, the Farizon SV is claimed to have a range of between 360 km and 400 km. For charging, the vehicle supports Ultra Fast Charging CCS2 at 140 kW DC, allowing charging from 20% to 80% in about 30 to 36 minutes. Safety is a primary focus, with 30 intelligent safety features installed, ranging from ACC and AEB to 360 Around View. On the interior side, the driver is pampered with a 12-inch head unit that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, as well as comfort features like ventilated seats and dual-zone AC.
