Farhan Reaffirms Bandung City Government's Commitment to Public Service and Development

The Mayor of Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, has responded to the decision by the Bandung District Attorney’s Office regarding the termination of the legal process involving the Deputy Mayor of Bandung. Farhan stated that the Bandung City Government respects the decision made by the law enforcement authorities.

He emphasised that the current focus of the Bandung City Government remains on public service, urban development, and resolving various issues faced by the community. From the outset, the Bandung City Government has been committed to respecting all ongoing processes and ensuring that the wheels of government and public services continue to function effectively.

“As I have previously stated, the most important thing is legal certainty. With this decision, I hope all parties can respect the process that has taken place and look forward together,” Farhan said.

According to him, Bandung is currently facing various challenges that require attention, hard work, and collaboration from all elements of society. Therefore, the government’s energy and attention must remain directed towards providing the best solutions and services for its citizens.

“What is most important to us is ensuring that the community continues to receive good service, development continues, and various city issues can be handled optimally. The interests of the citizens must always be the top priority,” Farhan added.

Farhan ensured that the Bandung City Government will continue to work professionally, maintain government stability, strengthen collaboration, and ensure that all priority programmes can be implemented effectively to realise a better Bandung City.
