Far From Target: Only Seven Companies Have Listed on the Exchange
The realisation of Initial Public Offerings (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is still far from its target. As of 2 October 2026, only seven companies have been recorded listing on the IDX through stock IPOs.
According to IDX data, these seven companies successfully raised funds amounting to Rp 2.16 trillion through their IPOs. Currently, there are seven companies in the IPO pipeline at the IDX.
Of these seven prospective issuers, their assets are divided into three categories based on POJK Number 53/POJK.04/2017. Two companies fall into the small-scale asset category, with assets below Rp 50 billion. Three companies have assets between Rp 50 billion and Rp 250 billion, while the remaining two fall into the large-scale asset category with assets exceeding Rp 250 billion.
“Up to this point, there are 7 companies in the IDX listing pipeline,” the IDX report stated, as quoted on Sunday (4/10/2026).
The sectoral breakdown of these prospective public companies includes two companies in the energy sector, four in the healthcare sector, and one in the industrials sector.
Five IPOs in the Pipeline Worth Rp 2.028 Trillion
Meanwhile, the OJK previously revealed five companies in the IPO queue. The total emission value of these five companies reaches Rp 2.028 trillion.
“Five companies, with an estimated emission of over Rp 2 trillion, specifically Rp 2.028 trillion,” said the Executive Head of Capital Market Supervision, Derivatives, and Carbon Exchange at the OJK, Hasan Fawzi, to reporters at the IDX Building, Jakarta, on Friday (2/10/2026).
Hasan explained that the realised fund collection in the capital market to date has reached Rp 169.5 trillion. Furthermore, there is a total pipeline of public offerings for all investment instruments valued at Rp 27.61 trillion.
Hasan estimates there is a potential for an additional fund collection of approximately Rp 24 trillion by the end of the year. These funds are expected to come from the issuance of debt securities and sukuk that are maturing and potentially undergoing refinancing.
“This means there is still an opportunity for us to hope to reach the target figure of Rp 250 trillion,” he explained.
2026 IPO Target
According to records, the IDX aims for a total of 555 securities listings throughout 2026. This figure includes 50 new companies via IPO. From the investor perspective, the IDX targets an addition of 2 million new Single Investor Identifications (SID).
At present, only seven new companies have listed their shares on the IDX. Meanwhile, the number of investors has grown to 31.9 million SID. Investor growth is also claimed to be occurring consistently every month.
“In the capital market industry five years ago, the number of investors in our capital market was 10 million.
