Fantastic! KPK Auctions iPhone XS for Rp 231,000, Sells for Rp 34 Million

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) sold a number of items in an auction of seized assets during the June 2026 period. One of the items sold was an iPhone XS mobile phone, which fetched Rp 34 million, despite its reserve price being Rp 231,000. The auction results were announced via the official KPK auction Instagram account. The handset, seen with a black protective case, sold for Rp 34,181,000, more than 100 times its reserve price. The most expensive asset sold was an apartment in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, valued at Rp 6.6 billion. A La Marzocco espresso machine also sold for Rp 105 million, up from a reserve price of Rp 77 million. Other items sold included a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, an excavator, a Honda Beat motorcycle, land and buildings in Banjarnegara, an iPhone 13 Pro Max, a Daihatsu Gran Max van, a vibro roller, and a Hino dump truck.
