A new chapter has begun to emerge in the handling of the case that has dragged in former Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung), Febrie Adriansyah.

Team 9 of the Attorney General’s Office revealed that it has seized dozens of land and building assets with a fantastic value. In total, there are 38 land and building objects that have been seized, with an estimated value of Rp846 billion.

Rudi Margono, coordinator of Team 9 investigators and Attorney General for Military Affairs at Kejagung, said the figure does not yet include evidence previously seized from the Sentul area.

“The estimate for the 38 asset objects is roughly Rp846 billion in value. That is separate from what was seized as evidence from Sentul earlier,” he said on Tuesday, 15 September 2026.

Rudi has not disclosed in detail who owns the dozens of assets. He only explained that the 38 objects represent an accumulation of seizures in the Febrie case.

The seizures in this case have not only targeted land and buildings. The investigative team has also secured 37 company documents and around 1,150 other documents.

Other evidence comes from seizures conducted by National Police investigators at a house in Sentul. In addition, there is Rp5 billion handed over by witness Ferry Hongkiriwang, alias Ferry Boboho, to investigators.

The money is said to be related to alleged extortion of tycoon Tan Kian, the total value of which is said to reach Rp40 billion.

“Then regarding the seizure, that is correct. One of the witnesses, FYH, returned Rp5 billion from the alleged extortion,” he said.

The disclosure of these assets coincided with an important development in the handling of the case. Team 9 declared that the investigation into the Febrie case is considered complete.

That conclusion came after a coordination meeting with several institutions, including the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the National Police, and the Prosecution Commission (Komjak), on Tuesday, 15 September 2026. Investigators are now only waiting for the case files to be declared complete, or P-21, by the public prosecutors.

“So, the case — from a technical investigative standpoint, according to Team 9 — is considered finished. We are awaiting the declaration of completeness, P-21, from the prosecutors,” he said.

The Attorney General’s Office had previously issued four investigation orders (sprindik) allegedly related to Febrie.

Three of the sprindik relate to alleged corruption at PT Asabri, PT Krakatau Steel, and a coal project for state utility PLN alleged to have triggered the blackout.
