JAKARTA: A family reported the shooting of 14-year-old Yuli
Anggraini by a stray bullet on March 14, to the National Police
internal affairs at the headquarters on Monday.

Father Nurcholish and Yuli's older sister, Mawar Krisnawati,
were accompanied by three lawyers from the Indonesian Legal Aid
Institute (PBHI); Basir Bahuga, Leonard Sitompul and David Oliver
Sitorus when they met with Comr. A. Lutfi.

The family also handed over a projectile and six of Yuli's
teeth as evidence. Yuli is under intensive treatment at the Mitra
Keluarga Hospital in East Jakarta.

Nucholish claimed that he had reported the shooting to the
Ciracas subprecinct and the city Police but had no response.

Mawar, an eyewitness during the shooting, said her sister was
hit by the bullet in the mouth when a police officer fired to
stop a brawl at the Gebras area in Ciracas, East Jakarta. She
claimed the shooter was wearing a brown uniform and a black vest.
