A family of three living in Padukuhan Klegen, Kalurahan Trimulyo, Sleman, Yogyakarta is reported missing. According to police records, the family of three has not been located since last week.

The information was conveyed through the official social media account of the Yogyakarta Regional Police on Tuesday (10 March) based on report L/GANGGUAN/B/3/III/2026/SPKT/POLDA D.I YOGYAKARTA. The missing persons report was filed with police on 9 March 2026.

The three people reported missing are Nafeeza Khalisa, 8 years old, Sri Handayani (29), and Ahmad Mukharom (30). They were reported missing by the father of Sri Handayani.

“On Monday, 2 March 2026, at 18:30 WIB the reporter was searching for his granddaughter Nafeeza. The second and third persons reported (Sri Handayani and Ahmad Mukharom) are a married couple,” stated the announcement on the official Instagram account of the Yogyakarta Regional Police @poldajogja on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

Since then, the whereabouts of the three have been unknown. Based on information received by police, the reporter and the persons reported lived in the same house.

“The reporter and the persons reported live in one house in Klegen, Trimulyo, Sleman, Sleman,” it stated.

The Yogyakarta Regional Police are asking members of the public who know the whereabouts of the three to report immediately to the nearest police station.

“If you find or have information about the whereabouts of the persons reported, immediately contact the nearest police station,” the Yogyakarta Regional Police announced.

Information can also be provided through the 110 call centre or through the Yogyakarta Regional Police SPKT service number at 0812-1748-0541 and the Ditreskrimum Polda number at 0813-2680-2328.

Meanwhile, Sumadi, the father of Sri Handayani and the reporter in this case, revealed that his daughter and granddaughter left the house on Monday (2 March) in the afternoon. He was about to perform tarawih prayers at the time.

“On Monday afternoon (2 March) I was going to perform tarawih prayers. My daughter Sri Handayani had just come from work to pick up my granddaughter,” Sumadi said when contacted by detikJogja on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

After picking her up, the three of them then left the house without saying goodbye and without bringing any clothes. They left wearing only the clothes on their bodies, along with a motorcycle and their marriage certificate. Sumadi said he did not know where the three went.

“Without saying goodbye, without bringing any provisions or clothes, just wearing what they had on. Then they left without saying goodbye. Until now they have not returned,” he said.

Sumadi also tried to contact his daughter by phone. However, since the day they left, Sri Handayani’s telephone number has been unreachable. All communication access has been cut off.

“I only reported to the Regional Police on Monday (9 March) because my report was rejected at the local police station,” he said.

In addition to reporting to the police, Sumadi has also tried to locate them through relatives. He even visited several cities where he suspected his in-laws lived.

“Because I could not contact them, I searched for addresses (of relatives). I reached Blitar on Thursday. Then I got information about Tangerang but they were not there, and Tuban but they were not there. I was looking for the male relatives (my son-in-law’s) addresses,” he said.

More than a week has passed with the whereabouts of his daughter and granddaughter still unknown. Sumadi has not yet found any significant clues.

Sumadi hopes his daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter will be found soon. He is concerned about his young granddaughter’s condition.

“I hope they are found soon. I feel sorry for my granddaughter, she is still young and should be at school,” he concluded.
