Family killed in accident

BOYOLALI, Central Java: Four people, three from one family,
were killed when a speeding bus slammed head-on into their car
yesterday.

The collision occurred at 1 p.m. and also injured a
motorcyclist. Those killed were a man, his wife, their two-year
old son and their friend.

The accident happened when intercity bus Mulyo Indah was
trying to overtake a truck and was unable to avoid the oncoming
sedan, witnesses said.

The bus driver and his two assistants fled the scene upon
seeing that the car was crushed and there were no survivors.
