Fajar Ridwan Hisyam Urges AMPI to Accelerate National Conference

In response to the ongoing internal dynamics within the AMPI Central Executive Board (DPP AMPI), Fajar Ridwan Hisyam, a senior official of DPP AMPI, has urged Chairman Jerry Sambuaga to immediately hold an accelerated national congress (Munas) and restore the board in accordance with the original decree (SK) from the 2022 inauguration.

“Jerry, as Chairman, should be aware and gracious enough to admit that he has failed to run the organisation, given the continuous internal disputes, to the point that he has been repeatedly dismissed by his own board and has changed the secretary-general four times,” said Fajar.

Fajar also proposed simply restoring the board to the original decree inaugurated in 2022 following the IX National Congress in Bandung.

“The initial board at the time of inauguration was selected by the formateur and was a direct mandate from the congress, possessing clear legitimacy,” said Fajar.

To safeguard the dignity of the AMPI organisation that he is proud of, he asked Jerry to hold an accelerated national congress so that this leadership can be ended together.

“We were inaugurated together; let us end it together,” said Fajar.

Fajar believes his suggestion is in line with the wishes of Golkar Party Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia. “I have heard that the Chairman of the Golkar Party DPP has tasked Secretary-General Sarmuji with resolving the internal turmoil within DPP AMPI, and one of his directives is to immediately hold an accelerated national congress (beginning a day before the National Leadership Meeting), so that AMPI can truly assist the Golkar Party in the upcoming 2029 general election,” he said.
