Fair now free for elderly, toddlers

JAKARTA: The organizers of the Jakarta Fair 2005 said on Monday that they would allow the elderly and children under five to visit the fair without paying the entrance fee.

"In addition, military and police officers will also be able to enter free, but they will have to show their ID cards," fair project director Ralph Scheunemann said.

The organizers are also providing special entrance gates -- Gate C and Gate H -- for the elderly.

"But, should they (the elderly) come along with their families, they can enter from any gate they want," he said.

The tickets are priced at Rp 10,000 on weekdays and Rp 15,000 on weekends. --Tempointeraktif.com
