Fadli Zon: Culture as a Bridge for Dialogue Amid Global Dynamics

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Culture Minister Fadli Zon emphasised the importance of strengthening cultural values as a bridge for dialogue and international cooperation amid global dynamics. He conveyed this during a discussion with the media at the Ministry of Culture office in Jakarta on Wednesday. He highlighted geopolitical developments that influence the global order of life. According to him, strengthening cultural values must be prioritised in building dialogue and cooperation between countries. “In a global situation full of dynamics, cultural values such as mutual cooperation and solidarity become the main strength of the nation in maintaining stability and facing various challenges,” said Fadli. He assessed that the government’s policies under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto, which prioritise people’s economy, are aimed at maintaining national stability and protecting the interests of the people. Fadli stated that culture has a strategic role in formulating inclusive and sustainable policies, as well as strengthening Indonesia’s position globally through identity-based diplomacy. He added that Indonesia remains committed to implementing an active and independent foreign policy and promoting world peace. Fadli emphasised the importance of synergy between the government, society, and media in maintaining national resilience and strengthening national unity amid global dynamics.
