Fadia Arafiq to Stand Trial Soon in Outsourcing Procurement Case

The KPK has transferred the case file of suspended Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq (FAR) to the Semarang District Court. Fadia will soon stand trial in connection with a corruption case involving the procurement of outsourcing services at the Pekalongan Regency Government.

“The KPK, through the Public Prosecutor, has transferred the case file concerning alleged corruption involving a conflict of interest in procurement, as regulated under Article 2 letter i of the Anti-Corruption Law, with the defendant FAR, to the Corruption Court at the Semarang District Court,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in a written statement on Thursday (16 July 2026).

Budi said KPK prosecutors are currently awaiting the court’s schedule for the first hearing. He said Fadia’s detention has also been moved from the KPK branch detention house to the Class IIA Women’s Correctional Institution in Semarang to support the smooth running and effectiveness of the trial process.

“With this transfer, law enforcement has entered the trial stage. Next, the KPK’s Public Prosecutor is awaiting the determination of the hearing date by the panel of judges to read the indictment, marking the start of the public examination of the case,” he said.

In this case, the KPK alleges that Fadia ordered regional apparatus organisations to ensure her company won outsourcing service procurement tenders. Fadia’s family company allegedly received Rp 46 billion between 2023 and 2026, which was then distributed.

The breakdown is as follows: Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq received Rp 5.5 billion; Fadia’s husband, Ashraff, Rp 1.1 billion; PT RNB director Rul Bayatun, Rp 2.3 billion; Fadia’s child Sabiq, Rp 4.6 billion; Fadia’s child Mehnaz Na, Rp 2.5 billion; and Rp 3 billion was withdrawn in cash.

Fadia has been named a suspect and detained by the KPK. She has been charged under Article 12 letter i and Article 12 B of the Law on the Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 127 paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code.

The KPK has seized vehicles belonging to a number of parties from Fadia Arafiq’s official residence to Cibubur. These include a Wuling Air EV, a Mitsubishi Xpander, a Toyota Camry, a Toyota Fortuner, and a Toyota Vellfire.
