Faculty of Economics and Business at Kadiri University Hosts International Lecturer Exchange
The Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Kadiri (UNIK) is once again strengthening its international academic networks through the International Lecturer Exchange event, held online via Zoom on Thursday, 30 April 2026. This activity brings together the Management Department of Kadiri University, Indonesia, and Vivekanandha Institute of Information and Management Studies, India, as a platform for sharing knowledge and reinforcing global perspectives in the field of management.
On this occasion, Priyo Prasetyo, S.M., M.M. (Lecturer in the Management Study Programme, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Kadiri) served as the speaker with the theme: “Investment Management in Emerging Markets: Opportunities, Risks, and Strategic Adaptation in the Indonesia–India Context.” The material covers investment management in dynamic emerging markets, including growth opportunities, potential risks, and relevant adaptation strategies in the Indonesia-India context.
Strengthening Insights into Investment in Emerging Markets
In his presentation, the speaker emphasised that the characteristics of emerging markets require comprehensive analytical capabilities, including an understanding of market volatility, policy changes, and the impact of technological transformations in the financial sector. Through a structured discussion, participants were guided to understand the importance of setting investment objectives, risk management, and portfolio adjustment strategies aligned with constantly changing economic conditions.
Interactive Academic Discussion Space
The event proceeded in a presentation and discussion format, allowing participants to engage directly in dialogue on strategic issues in investment, including the implications of global economic developments on investment decisions at both individual and institutional levels. The enthusiasm of participants was evident in the active question-and-answer session, which contributed to strengthening financial literacy and academic capacity.
UNIK’s Commitment to International Collaboration
The implementation of this International Lecturer Exchange is part of Universitas Kadiri’s commitment to continuously promoting campus internationalisation, enriching learning experiences, and building cross-country academic collaborations. It is hoped that similar events will continue as a forum for exchanging ideas, strengthening networks, and improving the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—particularly in the fields of education and knowledge development based on global perspectives.
