The post is also accompanied by a narrative stating that US President Donald Trump was furious and withdrew all US troops from Europe.

In addition, the narrative claims that the NATO Secretary-General stated that the US had become an enemy of the whole world.

But is it true that the US has been officially expelled from NATO?

Based on research, no information or official statements from governments and credible media outlets state that the United States has been expelled from NATO membership.

The results of a Google Lens search show that the image in the post is identical to a photo used by Reuters regarding the reaction of Germany and France to Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw US support from the joint communiqué of the G7 summit in Canada in 2018.

Trump’s decision at that time sparked criticism from several European countries because it was considered to show inconsistency in the US attitude in international cooperation. However, this event is not related to the expulsion of the United States from NATO.
