Jakarta — In anticipation of the mudik exodus, PT Pertamina Lubricants (PTPL) has prepared a series of Ramadan and Idul Fitri RAFI 2026 programmes. The scheme covers oil-change services at partner workshops and provision of rest stops for travellers on several strategic routes. This year, the company has increased the number of service points compared with previous periods, especially on heavily trafficked mudik routes on Java and Sumatra.

‘Mudik is one of the largest movements of people in Indonesia. We want to accompany travellers not only through our products but also through direct on-site services,’ said Nugroho Setyo Utomo, VP Marketing at PT Pertamina Lubricants in Jakarta, on Wednesday (4 March 2026).

The high vehicle volumes could extend travel times for mudik travellers. Coupled with dense traffic conditions and stop-and-go situations, vehicles will work harder than usual.

Therefore, pre-mudik vehicle preparation becomes important, including checking tyre pressure and tyre condition, braking system, radiator coolant, battery, vehicle lights, windscreen wipers, and of course oil condition.

‘Safety and comfort of travellers are paramount. We continually remind the public to conduct a thorough vehicle check before departure, including oil condition. Oil functions to maintain engine temperature and protect components from wear,’ Nugroho explained.

In response to these needs, PTPL is presenting various Ramadan and Idul Fitri RAFI 2026 programmes under the theme ‘Energy to Share, Safeguarding Every Journey’. ‘Because every homecoming journey is not merely mobility; it is a journey towards togetherness, hope and family happiness. And with a Spirit of serving wholeheartedly, and safeguarding every journey, Pertamina Lubricants is ready to be part of Indonesia’s mudik story,’ Nugroho said.

The following are PTPL’s RAFI programmes prepared to reach homebound travellers in several cities and mudik routes.
