Facilitating Local Businesses, Lazada Opens Access to Digital Ecosystem at JITEX 2026
A cross-sector collaboration between digital technology industry players and business associations has been established to boost the national economy.
Lazada Indonesia has officially partnered with the Indonesian Association of Retailers and Shopping Centre Tenants (HIPPINDO) as a strategic partner for the Jakarta International Investment, Trade, Tourism and SMEs Expo (JITress) 2026. This international-scale exhibition will be held at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta, and will run for four days, from 16 to 19 September 2026.
Carrying the major theme “Ignite The Economy”, JITEX 2026 is a strategic initiative from the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta. The objective is to strengthen the capital’s position as the primary gateway for investment, trade, and tourism, while serving as a stepping stone for local businesses to enter the global market.
The event receives full support from various central government bodies. This is evidenced by the synergy across multiple ministries, including the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Housing and Residential Areas, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Ministry of Creative Economy.
Lazada’s presence in this expo is purposeful. The e-commerce platform brings a mission to encourage business owners, particularly MSMEs, to more boldly utilise digital ecosystems to expand their market reach and increase their competitiveness.
